A book fair is a place where various types of books are displayed for sale. The main purpose of a book is not sale but it offers a rare opportunity to assess the advancement made in the publications of books. A book fair is usually held in the month of February. In our country, it is held in almost all cities and towns. The largest book fair is organized by Bangla Academy which is a leading organisation. A book fair helps to create new writers and new readers. It inspires people to form the habit of reading books. Many publishers (e) sometimes arrange it to display their new and old books of their publication. They show their books to the customers and tell the readers about their nature. Customers of different ages come to the book fair. It is also a meeting place of the writers. It is not only a festival (b) of amusement but also a cultural identity of a civilized (5) and educated nation. It increases the opportunity to buy books of different tastes. At the same time, it builds up the relationship between the writers and the readers.
